Introduction to the Patent Olympiad Experience

Who can actually participate in the Patent Olympiad?

¤¤¤ Everyone is welcome, no specific experience needed so aimed as a fun event. However of course some hard core search skills will increase the chance of winning...

When does it take place?

¤¤¤ In person on Sunday September 17th, 09.30-12.30, at the CEPIUG conference held at Politechnio in Milan.

How is the game organised, and what do you actually "do"?

¤¤¤ You will compete during 3 hours without break, where you are to solve three tasks; i) perform a validity search around a claim, ii) answer short questions around searching and iii) propose a search strategy around a presented topic

Which tools may I use?

¤¤¤ You may use any tools you want, so no restrications there. And yes, we will have checked so major AI approaches do not get too easily around the topic, not that easy ;-)

Is there a fee involved?

¤¤¤ Yes, signing up costs 75 eur, basically covering administration, and also a meet up get together snacks & networking the day before.

What do I win?

¤¤¤ First of all the The Fame of being a gold, silver or broze winner, this also includes some prestigeous artifacts (check the previous winner photos out 😉)
